Location Remote (Work from home) Overview We are an AI startup seeking a Junior LLM/GenAI Engineer / Junior AI Application Developer to work directly with an industry-leading CTO. This role offers significant opportunities to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience building and scaling AI-powered applications. Key Responsibilities Write and modify Python agent modules following existing patterns Adjust prompts, tune chunking parameters, and modify configurations Debug pipeline failures by reading logs and tracing errors Run and monitor agent chains Perform basic ChromaDB operations, including indexing and querying Work with APIs (add new calls and handle responses) Support & Mentorship You will receive guidance and support in the following areas: Architectural decisions (e.g., new agent design, chain ordering, when to split or merge pipelines) RAG tuning strategy Complex debugging (e.g., rerank timeouts, content filter issues, race conditions) Prompt engineering for domain-specific quality Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Python 3 (sufficient to understand where LLM-generated code may contain mistakes) Basic understanding of LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI-style chat completions) Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts Strong analytical thinking and delivery skills Why Join Work directly with an industry-star CTO High learning and growth potential in cutting-edge AI/GenAI systems Hands-on exposure to real-world LLM pipelines and applications Interested candidates can send their cv to the e-mail address in the Apply for job button.
