Community Liaison Officer (CLO) - IRES

Job Description: We are currently looking for a Community Liaison Officer (CLO) for a large international energy project. The role will serve as the key link between the project and local communities, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and compliance with international environmental and social standards. Location:  Baku / Regions (site-based) Employment Type:  Full-time Salary:  Negotiable Key Responsibilities: Manage stakeholder engagement activities in line with the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, including vulnerable groups Register, track, and support resolution of community grievances Organize and coordinate community meetings and consultations Ensure timely and transparent communication of project-related information Support implementation of CSR and community development initiatives Maintain stakeholder engagement records and reporting Ensure compliance with international standards (EBRD, IFC, Equator Principles) Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement / community relations Experience in large-scale construction, energy, or infrastructure projects is preferred Knowledge of EBRD, IFC, and Equator Principles is an advantage Fluent in Azerbaijani and English Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a site-based environment Interested candidates can send their CV to the e-mail address in the Apply for job button .
