Location:  Baku, Azerbaijan Employment Type:  Full-time About the Role Our client, a leading organization operating in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced Technical Advisor to support the review, evaluation, and coordination of technical, operational, transportation, production, and engineering activities across strategic projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing technical documentation, supporting project decision-making, evaluating budgets and contracts from an engineering perspective, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities Review and assess technical, operational, transportation, production, and engineering documentation related to ongoing projects. Evaluate drawings, specifications, calculations, material requirements, technical proposals, procedures, and reports. Monitor compliance with technical specifications, international standards, and HSE requirements. Participate in meetings with operating companies, consultants, and other stakeholders, providing technical input and recommendations. Review contracts and project-related agreements, providing technical comments and assessments. Analyze project budgets from an operational and engineering perspective and prepare recommendations for management. Evaluate proposed changes to project budgets and contracts and provide technical opinions. Support the collection, review, and timely submission of operational and engineering information required under various contractual arrangements. Contribute to the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports. Maintain and update technical documentation and project information databases. Prepare technical materials and presentations for meetings, conferences, and other official events. Assist in drafting official correspondence related to operational and engineering matters. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and perform other assigned duties as required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Oil & Gas Geology, Mining Engineering, Oil & Gas Production and Processing, Pipeline Transportation and Storage Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience. Strong technical and engineering knowledge within the oil & gas or energy sector. Experience reviewing and analyzing operational, production, transportation, and engineering reports. Strong report-writing and presentation skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills. Russian language proficiency is required.
