Payments & Settlements Specialist (Treasury) — iGaming - Company

Looking for a settlements / card clearing specialist ready to move into the fast-paced world of iGaming If you're currently working in transaction reconciliation, acquirer settlements, card clearing, or payment operations at a bank, this role will feel very familiar. Key Responsibilities Balance & liquidity control Daily monitoring of player balances, company bank accounts, and wallets Liquidity management: distributing funds across banks, PSPs, and wallets; maintaining sufficient balances for uninterrupted payouts Overseeing currency conversions and exchange rates, tracking FX differences Reconciliation & settlements Reconciling transactions between the platform's back office and bank/PSP statements Investigating and closing discrepancies Handling stuck payments, refunds, and chargebacks; communicating directly with payment providers Reporting & analytics Preparing regular reports: fund flow, deposits/withdrawals, bank and PSP fees, FX differences, chargebacks Contributing to cash flow forecasting and reporting automation Maintaining the payment methods registry: limits, fees, statuses, geo-availability Monitoring & compliance Monitoring anomalies: spikes in deposits/withdrawals, duplicate transactions, atypical patterns by player or payment method — escalating to Risk/AML Approving player payouts within set limits and policy: verifying KYC status, source of funds, and payment method compliance Cross-functional work Close collaboration with Payments, Risk, Finance, and Support teams on payment-related matters Requirements 1–2 years of experience in settlements, card clearing, treasury, payments operations, or a related field (banking, PSP, acquiring, fintech, or iGaming experience is a plus) Understanding of how PSPs, acquiring, and e-wallets work; familiarity with crypto payments (USDT, etc.) is a plus — training provided if needed Understanding of the chargeback process Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/QUERY); SQL and experience with BI tools is a strong plus Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of data Basic understanding of AML/KYC procedures and licensing requirements Azerbaijani — native, Russian — B2 or higher, English — an advantage Strong sense of responsibility, ability to maintain confidentiality, and comfort working under deadlines What We Offer Competitive salary.
