Senior Structural Engineer - Khazar Engineering

This position is open to citizens of Azerbaijan due to local hiring regulations Work location: ISR Plaza Key Responsibilities: The Senior Structural Engineer shall be able to perform all forms of structural integrity calculations using a mixture of software packages (STAADPRO min and any other) and hand calculations. Develop the specification and design of engineering projects from initial concept through detail design, construction/installation and final close-out. Perform calculations for lifting, spreader beams, Padeyes. Be able to size structural sections for all design loads including walkways and platforms that support equipment loads. All to international standards such as AISC, API RP 2A. ABS rules, DNV rules. Be able to work on own initiative and analyses existing and new structures. Supervise, Advise and liaise with the Structural Discipline Design Team to ensure all design drawings and documents clearly reflect the agreed design philosophy and specification. Prepare all necessary design reports and work packs throughout the design development phase. To ensure that project materials and equipment have all necessary certification in accordance with the design and national specifications. Carry out offshore and onshore site surveys. Share experience and knowledge with new employees. Qualifications: Senior Structural Engineer shall have bachelor`s degree on relevant subjects such as Mechanical / Marine or civil and engineering and 10 years of experience (offshore experience required) within the Industry and in similar roles. Knowledge of STAAD PRO program.
