Role Overview: MS LOGISTICS, is fast growing freight forwarding company in the International Logistics company, is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to optimize our daily logistics operations. This role is essential for ensuring efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of materials while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry standards. Main responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials. Manage and optimize transportation routes, warehouse operations, and inventory control to enhance efficiency. Coordinate with global agents, truckers, shipping lines, airlines and customs authorities to ensure smooth shipment processing. Oversee import/export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and local laws. Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings. Collaborate with customers’ procurement, sales, and project teams to align logistics plans with business needs. Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and warehouse operators to secure favorable terms. Address and resolve logistical challenges, including delays, damages, and supplier issues. Ensure all logistics activities adhere to safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Prepare and present reports on logistics operations, performance trends, and cost analysis to senior management. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics, supply chain, or transportation management; Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import/export regulations, and international freight operations. Fluent spoken and written English skills; Experience with ERP systems and logistics management software is preferred; Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Working conditions: Location: Baku city Sector: International Logistics of Containers from Country to Country Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 working days per week; Working hours: 3 p.m. – 02 a.m. (at the office and online) Lunch time in the office – 1 hour What We Offer: Salary 1200-1600 (KPI ) Opportunities for career growth and professional development.
