Location: Crescent Offices Job Purpose The Architect will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating architectural and multidisciplinary design documentation for public construction projects, including schools, kindergartens, and other social infrastructure facilities. The role focuses on identifying design inconsistencies, ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, and coordinating technical resolutions before construction. Key Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications, and design documents at all project stages. Identify design inconsistencies, clashes, omissions, and technical conflicts between architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape disciplines. Verify compliance with project specifications, local building regulations, fire safety requirements, accessibility standards, and international best practices. Review material specifications and construction details for technical suitability and constructability. Coordinate with consultants, designers, engineers, and project teams to resolve design issues. Prepare Design Review Reports highlighting non-conformities, comments, and recommended corrective actions. Participate in design coordination meetings and technical workshops. Review contractor technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions where required. Support Value Engineering (VE) initiatives by proposing technically sound and cost-effective design improvements. Ensure design documentation is complete, coordinated, and suitable for construction prior to tender and execution. Assist the Project Manager in technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in architectural design and design coordination. Previous experience in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, or other public/social infrastructure projects is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methodologies. Good understanding of structural and MEP coordination principles. Experience reviewing IFC, Tender, and Construction documentation. Familiarity with local building codes and fire safety regulations. Ability to identify design risks before construction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Technical Skills AutoCAD Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Competencies Strong attention to detail. Excellent technical judgment. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. High level of responsibility and accountability.
