Finance Manager - SİCPA

Role We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead and structure the finance function in our entity in Azerbaijan. In this role, you will act as a key business partner to the local management, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance and performance while supporting operational and strategic decision-making. You will play a critical role both during the project implementation phase and in the ongoing financial management of the local entity, ensuring alignment with Group standards and local regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Operations Build, implement and manage an effective finance function to support the local organization. Act as a trusted partner to the General Manager, providing high-quality financial insights and recommendations. Ensure smooth execution of core finance processes, including order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles. Oversee customer invoicing, cash collection, cash flow monitoring and optimization. Plan financing needs and liaise with Group Headquarters. Project & Cost Control Provide financial oversight during the project implementation phase, including CAPEX and OPEX monitoring. Ensure alignment with approved budgets, corporate guidelines and local regulatory requirements. Identify risks and propose corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met. Accounting, Compliance & Reporting Ensure full compliance with local regulations, tax requirements and Group policies. Oversee all accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely preparation of statutory and management financial statements. Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, banks and regulatory bodies. Guarantee the integrity of financial data and internal control processes. Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial simulations in collaboration with the GM and department heads. Monitor financial performance, analyse variances and provide actionable recommendations. Develop and maintain a financial scorecard to track company performance. Ensure timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the GM and Group Headquarters. Contribute to tax optimization strategies in coordination with Group experts. Stakeholder Management Interact with customers, suppliers, auditors, financial institutions and local authorities. Support negotiations with local suppliers from a financial perspective. Ensure effective communication of financial insights across the organization. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement initiatives to improve financial processes, efficiency and performance. Contribute to the development and strengthening of local policies and procedures in alignment with Group standards. Profile Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, ideally from an European academic institution. Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, controlling or accounting roles. Experience in an international or project-based environment is a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting standards and controlling practices. Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP is a strong advantage). Good understanding of local tax and regulatory frameworks. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Detail-oriented, organized and deadline-driven. Business-oriented mindset with a focus on results and performance.
