Project Development Own the end-to-end development of assigned projects, managing timelines, milestones, deliverables, and cross-functional workstreams from early-stage development through to financial close and construction handover. Lead project planning and scheduling; identify critical path activities, track progress, and proactively resolve bottlenecks across different workstreams. Manage and coordinate external advisors including legal counsel, technical consultants, environmental specialists, and permitting agents to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Prepare and present regular project status updates and milestone reports. Commercial Analysis & Structuring Develop and optimize commercial structures for projects, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and lender requirements. Analyze market conditions, regulatory frameworks, and pricing mechanisms to inform and refine commercial models. Lead negotiations with offtakers, landowners, grid operators, and government agencies to achieve balanced commercial outcomes. Review contractual terms, risk allocation, and execution mechanisms to protect the company's strategic and commercial interests. Coordinate preparation and negotiation of key project agreements. Assess and address key bankability factors, including offtake structure, revenue certainty, and contract risk. Ensure project agreements and structures meet lender requirements; support fulfilment of Conditions Precedent for financial close. Requirements Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is advantageous. CFA is a plus. Experience 5+ years in project development or project management in the energy, renewables, or infrastructure sector. Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary projects through permitting, commercial, and financing stages. Exposure to project finance transactions, including PPAs, financing agreements, and financial close processes. Experience engaging with lenders, DFIs, or institutional investors on infrastructure or energy projects is preferred.
