Conditions: Location: Baku, Azerbaijan Contract Type: Short-term Consultancy Employment Type: Hybrid Duration: May-June 2026 (6-week contract) Reporting To: Project Director / Head of Media Communications We are looking for an experienced Communication Manager / Media Coordinator to support the communication and media activities. The role will focus on ensuring strong media visibility, effective messaging, and high-quality content production related to an international event. The Communication Manager will coordinate with media representatives, journalists, internal teams, and digital platforms to ensure comprehensive and timely coverage of project activities. Details of the Project will be shared with the shortlisted candidates. Key Responsibilities The candidate's responsibilities will be in 3 directions: Media Relations & Event Coverage Develop and implement a comprehensive media coverage plan Coordinate journalists and media representatives during events, and arrange interviews Monitor and collect media coverage and prepare reporting summaries Content Development Create high-quality editorial content, including articles, stories, infographics, and multimedia materials Prepare and distribute official press releases, photos, and videos Support publication of opinion articles and leadership pieces in international media Communication Coordination Align messaging with leadership communication priorities and key talking points Coordinate with internal communication and social media teams Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in media relations, PR, or communication management Experience working with journalists and media organizations Strong writing and editing skills Experience managing social media communication for institutions or events Preferred Qualifications Experience covering international events or conferences Advanced in English and fluent in Azerbaijani (Russian is an advantage) Experience working with global media outlets Experience working in an international organization (Related to finance is an advantage) How to Apply Please send your CV and a short motivation letter to the e-mail address in the Apply for job button.
