Laboratory Technician (Cementing Laboratory) - IRES

Preference will be given to female candidates We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to join an international energy services company. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy practical, hands-on laboratory work and are interested in developing their technical experience within the oil & gas industry. The position is focused mainly on laboratory activities related to cementing operations. Candidates with drilling fluids laboratory experience may also be considered if the talent pool is limited. Location: Azerbaijan Key Responsibilities: Conduct laboratory testing and sample analysis related to cementing operations Prepare and handle laboratory samples and materials Support fluid design and additive testing activities Maintain laboratory equipment in clean and working condition Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards Prepare laboratory reports and maintain accurate records Participate in technical and quality improvement activities Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field 2–3 years of laboratory experience in cementing operations preferred Candidates with drilling fluids lab experience may also be considered Strong interest in practical laboratory work (not documentation-focused roles) Good communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of MS Office and laboratory reporting tools English language skills are an advantage Interested candidates can send their CV to the e-mail address in the Apply for job button. e-mail: recruitment@ires.az
