Moore Azerbaijan , an independent member of the global network of auditing and consulting firms Moore Global Network Limited, announces a vacancy for the position of Accountant Key Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years in a relevant field  Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Azerbaijan statutory accounting and reporting standards  Certifications: PMS and/or ACCA papers are considered an advantage  Languages: Azerbaijani (native), English and/or Russian (fluent)  Systems: Proficiency in 1C and MS Excel  Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate implementation of all accounting processes in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan  Record financial transactions accurately in accounting systems and registers  Monitor and track inventory movements, cash balances, and VAT deposit accounts, ensuring proper documentation and communication  Implement payroll calculations, including salaries, travel expenses, unused leave, maternity, and sick leave, ensuring correct accounting treatment  Prepare and submit tax returns and reports (VAT, property tax, withholding tax, income tax, unified declarations, and statistical reports) to relevant authorities  Maintain secure and organized accounting records and supporting documentation for audits and tax purposes  Execute management-assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner  Identify and assess tax risks, providing timely and insightful reports to management  Overseeing day-to-day e-tax portal workflows and managing regulatory correspondence with government agencies  Please send your CV/Resume to the e-mail address in the Apply for job button with the subject line “Accountant” .
