MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Provide first- and second-line support for software and hardware issues across the organization. Support and maintain PCs as well as LAN/WAN network infrastructure. Test and evaluate hardware and software to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems. Monitor and test communication lines to ensure compliance with technical specifications. Assess system performance and identify risks related to component failure. Troubleshoot LAN-related issues and recommend effective solutions. Interpret technical documentation to configure equipment and ensure optimal performance. Identify suitable equipment based on organizational requirements and technical specifications. Provide user support, including troubleshooting data communication issues and training on system usage. Monitor system messages to verify accurate data transmission between locations. Manage ordering and installation of peripheral equipment and consumables (e.g., cables, printer paper). Ensure all activities comply with ICT policies and procedures. Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability. Assist users in resolving hardware and software issues. Oversee installation, measurement, and maintenance of cables and wiring. Report system errors or equipment failures to the relevant ICT personnel. Monitor system outputs and detect faults through system alerts and performance indicators. Operate computer systems to process business, engineering, or scientific data in line with procedures. Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Sanitation standards.
