Role We are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to oversee logistics, procurement, forecasting and inventory management activities in Azerbaijan. In this role, you will ensure the efficient, compliant and secure flow of equipment, spare parts and consumables across operational sites while maintaining strong relationships with local partners, authorities and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance and alignment with global supply chain standards. Logistics Deploy logistics processes in line with Group standards and implement supporting procedures and systems locally. Oversee incoming international shipments, including customs clearance and transportation to relevant operational sites in Azerbaijan. Coordinate local deliveries of equipment, spare parts and consumables (including dangerous goods) between different sites. Ensure timely delivery of equipment and spare parts according to installation plans, forecasts and maintenance needs. Manage the distribution of consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations. Select, manage and maintain relationships with local logistics and transportation partners. Maintain service agreements and monitor supplier performance. Ensure accurate manual and electronic tracking of equipment, spare parts and consumables, including goods receipts and delivery documentation. Organize and monitor regular inventory stock takes in collaboration with Finance. Oversee reverse logistics processes for defective, surplus or obsolete equipment, including shipments back to origin where required. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local import/export regulations and requirements, including regulations governing the storage and transport of dangerous goods. Forecasting Collaborate with the client to establish rolling 12-month forecasts. Communicate forecasts to headquarters to support planning, production and delivery. Forecast spare parts and consumables needs and place orders with headquarters and/or local suppliers. Procurement Ensure timely procurement of goods and services from headquarters and local suppliers. Manage the procurement cycle including purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in line with internal approval processes. Identify, evaluate and onboard local suppliers when required. Maintain a vendor database including supplier performance indicators and ratings. Implement procurement processes in line with Group standards and compliance requirements. Inventory Management Define and implement processes and systems for equipment, spare parts and consumables inventory management. Manage the full inventory lifecycle: planning, movement tracking, goods issues, reordering and control. Monitor inventory turnover ratios and adjust forecasts to optimize stock levels. Conduct and document regular inventory counts across operational sites. Manage inventories of dangerous goods in compliance with regulations. Reporting & Coordination Provide regular operational reports to the General Manager. Prepare reports for headquarters on consumption trends, forecasts, inventory results and secure supply chain activities. General Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with company policies, including Health, Safety and Environmental standards. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of local policies, processes and procedures. Lead or support initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness. Participate in administrative and operational activities supporting the local entity. Profile University degree or technical training in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics or inventory management. Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, logistics and inventory management best practices. Experience implementing and operating supply chain processes in operational environments. Strong planning and forecasting capabilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends in consumption and utilization data. Experience with inventory management systems or ERP solutions (SAP is a strong advantage). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Technical background (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics or similar) is an advantage. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments and familiarity with LEAN practices is a plus. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders. Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English and Azerbaijani. Highly organized, meticulous and deadline-driven. Willingness to work hands-on and manage administrative responsibilities when needed. Fluent in English (C1 level required); fluent in Azerbaijani; knowledge of Russian is a strong asset.
