Supply planning and forecasting Organise, manage and continuously improve the operation of the company’s supply chain system; Prepare short-, medium- and long-term supply plans based on the requirements of the Sales, Projects and Service departments; Analyse lead times and define contingency plans for critical items. Purchasing and supplier management Source, evaluate, select and onboard suppliers and service providers; Negotiate pricing, payment and delivery terms with suppliers and secure favourable commercial conditions; Create and approve purchase orders (PO) and monitor their execution; Monitor delivery lead times; initiate escalation and recovery actions in the event of delays or non-conformities; Regularly evaluate supplier performance against defined criteria and build long-term partnership relationships; Participate in the preparation of draft contracts and other standard documents for the purchasing of goods, works and services; Analyse the terms of supply contracts from a logistics and financial risk perspective. Import, customs and documentation Organise the customs clearance of goods and coordinate with customs brokers; Ensure that the relevant permits required for import — licences, certificates, conformity documents, etc. — are obtained from the competent state authorities; Ensure the correct preparation of transport and shipping documents (invoice, packing list, CMR, B/L, certificate of origin, etc.); Monitor changes in customs legislation and integrate them into company processes in a timely manner; Organise document flow, archiving and audit-ready record keeping. Logistics and transportation Organise international and domestic transportation, select carriers and define the terms of cooperation with them; Optimise transportation costs through the selection of the optimal route, mode of transport and Incoterms; Prepare logistics forecasts and plans; Monitor the safety and integrity of goods during transportation and storage; Establish internal logistics processes ensuring fast and transparent delivery of spare parts to service technicians and installation crews. Warehouse and inventory management Organise warehouse operations and supervise warehouse activities and staff performance; Standardise the processes for goods receipt, put-away, storage and issue; Carry out regular stock counts and ensure consistency between physical and recorded inventory; Define minimum and maximum stock levels (min/max stock) to ensure uninterrupted supply; Identify slow-moving and dead stock and take measures to reduce it; Monitor compliance with storage conditions and equipment maintenance requirements. Budget, KPIs and reporting Prepare the annual supply chain budget and monitor its implementation; Analyse purchasing and logistics costs and prepare cost-reduction proposals; Prepare and present regular analytical reports to management. Risk management and insurance Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (supply disruption, delays, price volatility, currency risk, etc.); Arrange insurance of equipment, goods and materials, as well as carriers’ liability; Manage documentation and the claims process in the event of insured incidents. Process improvement Document and optimise the processes from purchase requisition to goods receipt; Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase supply chain efficiency; Ensure the correct use of the supply chain modules in the ERP system; Train the relevant departments and field staff to implement process changes. Education and work experience Higher education — a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Economic Relations, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage; At least 3 years of work experience in the specialty or in related fields; Supply chain experience in the technical equipment, construction or industrial sector is an advantage. Professional knowledge Knowledge of legislation in the field of international and domestic transportation and experience working with international carriers; Knowledge of customs legislation and hands-on experience working with customs authorities; Knowledge of the process of obtaining permits and licences; Knowledge of the process of issuing transport and shipping documents; Knowledge of Incoterms; Knowledge of the basics of document workflow; Knowledge of inventory management methodologies. Technical skills Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications Experience working with ERP systems; Ability to prepare analytical reports. Language skills Azerbaijani — excellent; English — professional proficiency (written and spoken); Russian — an advantage.
