The Modern Educational Complex named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidates for the following positions: English Language Develompment Teachers (Full-Time) Contract Duration: Position 1: Academic Year Position (contract until the end of August). Position 2: Maternity Leave Cover (contract ends in late February). Address: Baku, Samad Vurghun street 151 Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or related field (Master's degree preferred) Recognized teaching qualifications (PGCE, CELTA, QTS are advantage) Experience teaching English Language Development/EAL/ESL students in an international school setting Strong understanding of language acquisition and differentiated instruction for multilingual learners Excellent English communication and classroom management skills Commitment to inclusive, student-centred, and evidence-based teaching practices Main responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality ELD lessons for primary and/or secondary students Assess students’ English proficiency and monitor their progress using appropriate assessment tools. Develop individualized language support strategies to meet diverse learner needs Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to the school’s ELD programme development.
