HSE Manager - IRES

Location: Aghdara, Azerbaijan (Demirli Project) We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join a large-scale mining project in Aghdara, Azerbaijan. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage HSE activities across the mining project. Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and management systems from scratch. Identify and mitigate risks associated with open-pit mining operations and chemical processes. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and regulatory requirements. Implement process safety measures and emergency response plans. Promote a strong safety culture and provide HSE training. Monitor HSE performance and lead the HSE team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of HSE management experience. Experience in open-pit mining operations is mandatory. Proven experience in establishing HSE management systems from scratch. Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, chemical processes, and process safety. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in English is required.
