Location: Bakı, Azərbaycan Deliver accurate, on-time management reporting; lead the annual budget and quarterly reforecast; produce location/store P&Ls and driver analysis; enforce KPI standards; and turn insights into actions with BU leadership. Accounting runs the close; this role runs analysis, management packs, and performance follow-through. Responsibilities: Month-End & Management Reporting (target: Pack by D+5 business days) Coordinate with Accounting to target close by D+3. Prepare the Management P&L Pack by D+5 with a one-page executive summary (risks, opportunities, actions, owners, dates). Variance analysis vs budget, latest forecast, and prior year across revenue mix, cost of goods sold (COGS), payroll, occupancy (rent), OPEX, gross margin, and EBITDA drivers. Present to the BU CEO by D+5; submit the final, checked pack to the Supervisory Board by D+15. Store / Location Performance (Monthly) Monthly store/location P&Ls with ranking and clear commentary on drivers (traffic, conversion, units per transaction, average transaction value, where available). Monthly KPI page per store/location: sales, orders, AOV, channel mix (where relevant), COGS %, payroll %, markdown impact, and key follow-ups. Analyze lease and occupancy costs, propose rent optimization or cost-sharing opportunities with landlords, and monitor rent-to-sales ratios to support profitability. Exception deep dives for underperforming locations (e.g., daypart/SKU, waste/markdown, labour productivity). Planning Cadence (Budget & Quarterly Reforecast) Lead timelines, templates, deliverables, and review checkpoints. Model volumes, margins, payroll, and OPEX with Operations; quantify initiatives and risks/opportunities. Maintain a documented rhythm of business reusable across BUs. Drafting P&L Projection and Project Financial Feasibility for new stores Prepare and maintain a quarterly cash flow and payment balance forecast, ensuring alignment between operational budgets, P&L projections, and liquidity requirements. The forecast must be submitted no later than five (5) business days before the start of each new quarter to support timely financial decisions and maintain strong cash discipline. Reporting Structure & Core Controls (embedded in role) Keep the reporting structure correct: make sure each store and cost center is correctly set up in the finance and reporting tools so results roll up accurately by store, area/city, country, and BU. Inventory, pricing, and margin checks: work with Accounting and Operations to keep cost and price data correct; monitor markdown effects and shrink indicators; explain gross-margin variances and agree actions. Data quality: ensure account mappings, store IDs, and product/category mappings are kept up to date so reports match operational reality. KPI Standards & Consistency Publish a one-page KPI glossary (definitions/formulas for Like-for-Like Sales, AOV, COGS %, Payroll %, Gross Margin %, OPEX %, EBITDA, cash conversion). Use the same names and formulas across monthly packs and Board materials. Business Partnering & Follow-Through Day-to-day finance partner to BU leadership and Operations. Turn data into decisions: set actions with owners/dates, quantify impact, and track to closure. Responsibility area: Month-end & management reporting Location/store performance management Budgeting & quarterly reforecast cadence Data workflow & KPI standards Business partnering & decision support Professional Knowledge: Practical knowledge of FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, variance analysis, business controlling, P&L and/or profitability/driver analysis. Practical understanding of financial close and control processes. This requirement is met where the CV demonstrates month-end close, accounting coordination, audit, internal controls, reconciliations, monthly reporting and/or management accounts experience. Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including financial models, pivots/formulas, reporting templates, dashboards and data analysis. Practical knowledge of KPI reporting, dashboards, store/location performance reports, sales metrics, AOV, COGS, payroll %, gross margin, EBITDA and/or KPI formula/standards. English: B2 (upper-intermediate) or higher. Education: Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. ACCA, CIMA, CFA, financial modelling, FP&A, audit/accounting or finance-related professional certification is an advantage. Work Experience: At least 4 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and/or business partnering. Practical experience in month-end/close coordination, variance analysis, financial modelling, budget vs actual analysis, forecasting, P&L analysis, driver analysis and/or management reporting. Big 4, external/internal audit, assurance and/or financial controls experience is an advantage. Professional Skills and Competencies: Attention to detail.
