Distribution and inventory management specialist - Carlsberg Azerbaijan | Vakansiya

Role overview:  We are looking for a Distribution and Inventory Management Specialist to ensure the efficient flow, availability, and accurate control of finished goods. The role will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating distribution activities, monitoring key performance indicators, and using data-driven insights to minimize stockouts, overstock, delivery delays, and operational inefficiencies.  What You'll be doing: Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels of ready products; Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy; Monitor inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to minimize overstock or stockouts; Provide regular reports on inventory status, distribution performance, and forecasts to management, maintaining data in inventory management systems; Ensure that ready products are delivered on time to customers, minimizing delays or errors; Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to distribution centres or retail locations; Conducting RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and developing corrective actions; Creating, maintaining, and automating reports in Excel/Power BI and other tools. What we’re looking for: higher education (preferably in Finance, Logistics or related fields); more than 2 year of  experience in logistics or planning (preferably in FMCG);   Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to details; Strong communication skills (ethics in business communication, negotiation and presentation, decision-making, objections handling, teamwork, drive for results, teaching skills and trainability) Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, English - Upper İntermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
